Sumire (pronounced sue-me-ray) was born at 1250 in the afternoon on April 2nd. She weighed in at 3250g with a height of 49.1cm. Here are some pix of the cutest baby in the hospital ward! I guess there is no need to say that more pix are on the way!

Whooo Hooo!!! She's gorgeous! Our most elated congratualtions go out to you both, Yuki and Jeff! And she looks more like Yuki, so thatis a good start. Now just the personality......hopefully.....ah well...we'll leave you to it today.

Congratulations!すみれちゃんの誕生おめでとう！ゆきちゃんの体はだいじょうぶですか？日本のことわざに「一姫二太郎」というのがあって、最初に生まれた子供が女の子だと育てやすいんだそうです。次は男の子ですよ。ところで、誕生日が４月２日というのは驚きだね。もし４月１日だったら、１年早く学校へ入学することになるんだよ。１年損したのか、それともゆっくり育てることができるので１年得したということか・・・とにかくおめでとう。新しいパパとママに乾杯！！
