Happy New Year everyone!

Here are some pictures of the fun we had over the winter break.

Sumire and I went to the big Children's Land park near our house again over the break. This time we didnt go ice skating but still had a lot of fun nonetheless.

The next day we headed to Nishiwaki for a couple of days. I went golfing but got snowed out!

After that we all packed into our tiny car (Baba and Jiji too) to head to Michan's house for New Years.

The morning of January 1st we dd the traditional hike up the mountain near Michan's house. This year Sumire came along and made it to the top all by herself!

We celebrated Michan's birthday at Kumi's house.

This is a picture that Keita made (he was only 3 when he made it) that won some awards.

We discovered that my new school is only about a 15min drive from Kumi's house so we went to have a look at how the construction is coming along.

One the way home we stopped for a picture of Mt. Fuji.
